Gail Bellamy
Host of "Dinner Plans"
Gail Bellamy has more than 20 years of experience as Managing Editor and Food Editor of Restaurant Hospitality, a national magazine for the restaurant industry. She is a Certified Culinary Professional, and also serves as contributing editor for Tableware Today magazine, where she writes about tablesetting design. From 1995-1998 she had her own section on AOL's Food & Drink Network called "Gail Bellamy On Dining Out." In addition, she was a contributing food writer for Cleveland Free Times for six years, and her work has appeared in numerous local and national publications such as Northern Ohio Live and Tampa Magazine, and has written four food-related books.
Ms. Bellamy has a Ph.D. in Creative Writing. She is a member of the International Association of Culinary Professionals, Women Chefs and Restaurateurs, is the past-president and current board secretary of International Foodservice Editorial Council, and is a founding member of the new Cleveland chapter of Les Dames D'Escoffier. She serves on the national advisory board of the Culinary Arts Institute of Mississippi University for Women. Locally, she is a member of The Press Club, The Society of Professional Journalists, and the American Society of Business Press Editors. She is an adjunct at Ursuline College and SUNY/Empire State College in New York. Ms. Bellamy lives in Cleveland Heights, OH with her husband Stephen.
